Here in Skagway, this is the only market. If you like milk, it currently is priced at $6.28 per gallon. The market tends to run out of some of the basics like diet coke and frozen burritos. There is an ample supply, however, of what is alleged to be chicken(different shades of green and gray) some multi-colored cheese and bread for $3.00 per loaf. The supply ship comes in every Tuesday evening. You generally want to make it to the store no later than Thursday. There is an acceptable supply of fish. It's in a can labeled Starkist. There is also an ample supply of all kinds of jerky, chewin' tobacco , and all the recent issues of Guns and Ammo Magazine. I don't think they accept your fresh-value cards, either.

lovely market! brings back GOOD memories, even if i was there for only a day..i did make 2 trips there! I'll bet Dan would like that market, where he could get his supply of 'gums and ammo' magazines! I think i'd giv eup milk for that price, but the diet coke would have to stay in the diet.
enjoy your market days! EC
mother.....why do you sign EC? I would like to know what that stands for.
Great picture dad. I'm impressed that you figured it out. Guess it's a good thing that you don't drink milk.
ec=Eternal Companion! duh. i am afraid of that market. where's the walmart?
too funny. maybe rhonda could ship u some of the basic food staples...

I hope you took a good supply of your Preparation H medicated wipes-I'm sure with green chicken the demand is high.
Hope you like blue cheese!!!
You shouldn't get sick...the mold on the food is good antibiotic.
Seriously Ryan, you shouldn't say things like that when I'm not expecting them! You better save the dime I'm sending dad!
looks like the prices aren't too far off from NYC milk prices. I think a quart of milk is $5.99 in my building (although I do get $1 back when I return the bottle). We even have a Fairway Market here! Who knew we would have so much in common!!
Love that they are well stocked with Tuna!? Now a visit to Alaska is just a click away.
